Very Slim to None: The tissue surrounding that socket has started to mature and to migrate to close the wound. Unless you really disturbed the area mechanically, you are pretty much past the time of dry socket.

Dry socket: Dry sockets occur when infection resides either in the bone or soft tissue. This occurs because the original infection was not properly detoxed or because the healing clot has been disturbed and a new infection has appeared. Dry sockets always indicate that something is not right.

Not likely: A dry socket usually can occur within 3 days after an extraction after a blood clot falls out of the socket. If concerned, see your dentist/surgeon for post-op evaluation.
