It's not: It's a normal fibbing clot. If you had dry socket you would have any or all of severe pain, bleeding, foul breath, swelling, stiff neck, swollen glands, fever, etc. For your own peace of mind return to the Dentist or specialist Oral Surgeon that did the extraction for a post-surgical evaluation.
