Any fevers?: if its just pain that is probably par for the course. As long as you are not having fevers you should be fine but obviously follow up with the dentist/surgeon as needed

Ask your dentist: it seems as you dentist has the situation under control,wisdom tooth still causing pain after a week can be an issue, if the pain is tapering of I would say that you are on you way to a good recovery, but this should be best addressed by your dentist. Good luck.
