Symptoms: This could be from a number of causes from mono, to Strep throat, to COVID 19 to other infections. Suspicion for COVID 19 is higher if you have at least 2 of these symptoms: temp of at least 99.6, Cough, Shortness of breath, Chills, Shivering, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat or new loss of taste or smell.

Virus: Sore throat and headaches are both symptoms associated with many viral illnesses including Covid-19. Get tested, and watch for additional symptoms. Drink lots of fluids, take acetaminophen/ibuprofen for pain/fever, and get lots of rest. most viruses last 7-14 days. see a DR for difficulty breathing, persistent chest pain, mental confusion or lethargy
