Try irrigation: Often this kind of sore throat can be due to congestion and mucous in the back of the throat where it meets the nose. Try saline rinses using a sinus rinse kit or a neti-pot. This often helps a lot.

Sounds like a cold?: Headache, sore throat, nasal stuffiness are all symptoms of a cold. I usually use Dayquil or Nyquil when I have those symptoms. If it persists or worsens you can see your doctor for an exam.
