I'm a vegetarian and i go to the gym. plan on going on an all egg diet for protein and less fat, is that okay? (ldl vs hdl, food vs blood cholesterol)

Eggs are ok, but...: Eggs are ok to eat, but the yolk is all fat. That means one should not eat too many yolks. The egg white is all nutritious protein. However, eating too much of any one thing is not a good idea. Variety in the diet is the best plan.

Not okay!: An all egg diet for less fat makes no sense at all! eggs are the highest source of cholesterol of any food. While eating up to 3 eggs a day doesn't raise cholesterol, an all egg diet is likely to be unhealthy & unbalanced. It's ok to use eggs as your main source of protein but i'd eat lots of veggies & some fruits-otherwise you'll become deficient in crucial phytonutrients.Eat foods of all colors!

Egg protein: Limit your yolk to 2 per day. You may have 8 egg whites per day. Egg white is superior to all. Quinoa is excellent. Beans and lentils are excellent. Milk protein is excellent. Whole grains are good but not sufficient. Nuts are excellent. Yogurt is excellent.

Excellent idea: Vary your diet some, but an egg-based diet is fine at your age while you're exercising. Consider a simple vitamin-and-mineral supplement. Especially, I'm glad you're into fitness. Best wishes.
