A member asked:

Do asymptomatic urethral cysts have to be documented, or can it just be left alone? i know my doctor put malaise on my record at some point?

Paraurethral cyst: Anything you see a Dr for has to be documented in the chart. Paraurethral cysts, also known as Skene's glands, are found in the wall of the vagina near the urethra in females. A paraurethral cyst appears as a glistening, tense, and bulging yellowish-white mass that narrows the urethral outlet. Narrowed urethral outlet predisposes a person for UTI's. You may eventually need to have it excised.
