Reasonable: In most cases it is very reasonable to ask for a 2nd opinion. In the first instance you should approach your GP with this request. The assessment for these symptoms is somewhat involved and will require plenty of background information + a physical examination. If your GP is unwilling to refer you then you are entitled to ask for a 2nd GP opinion.
