A member asked:

My daughter had been through two different rounds of oral antibiotics for an inner ear infection, as well as drops on top of the last oral medication and she is still saying her ear hurts. i am not excited about a third round of antibiotics. we did the walk in clinic twice, now i am not sure if i should take her to her primary doctor or to a specialist and if i need a referral or not for her? she has seasonal allergies that are in full swing now also. 7 year old daughters left?

Primary doc: Her pediatrician should be able to assess and based on findings refer to ENT and/or allergy specialist as needed.
