Should i regularly check for hep. a and b? ive never checked for them and i dont even know if ive been vaccinated for it. i regularly do cbc. if u get hep a or b does it always stay in your blood? if so then how its just contagious within 6 month?

Basics: It is of little value for people to get screened for diseases they have little risk of getting. Those in the health care setting who might be exposed may find it useful.In the USA it became routine to vaccinate against Hep B when you were a newborn. If you give blood they routinely screen for evidence of hepB.

My CBC+Diff test result has a note next to it that says "sample checked for a clot". Is that typical procedure or did I possibly have a blood clot?
