A member asked:

My cbc+diff test result has a note next to it that says "sample checked for a clot". is that typical procedure or did i possibly have a blood clot?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You're fine: One of the tubes that contained anticoagulant may not have mixed perfectly and the tech was concerned that the presence of a little clot could have thrown results off.
