Hey docs. just a bit of background i went for an ectopic surgery 2 months ago. last night and today i have been having weird pains in my pelvic area sometimes sharp pains. is this any cause for concern?

When this surgeries are done the surgeons use a suture that stays in the body for a few weeks before being reabsorbed by the body. Sometimes, this stiches cause some uncomfortable sensations. Regardless of that you should visit your gynecologist.
