Pain: An ovarian cyst can delay a period. And it can also cause pain, or pain with intercourse, bloating, or pressure. If a cyst ruptures or twists on itself, you can have severe, crippling pain that sends you to the emergency room. Left sided pain can also be related to the colon or the urinary tract. But an ectopic pregnancy would have a positive pregnancy test. Get checked by GYN if pain persists.
