Breastfeeding: Newborn latching problems can typically be traced to baby positioning. Try a variety of positions to see which one works. If you cannot resolve the problem with holding changes, you may need to consult a midwife or lactation consultant for evaluation. Occasionally breast shape or duct anomalies cause one breast to not function correctly. In this situation, the other breast will produce more.
