I had a igg of 1.11 at my pcp i then went to city md did a full panel they sent my result in for hsv2 inhibition elisa and the results were negative thus inhibition can't be determined why was it positive and now negative before inhibition elisa

HSV2 antibody: An index of 1.11 on HSV2 antibody testing is barely positive. Only values over 3 or 3.5 are truly positive. ANd your negatie HSV2 inhibition test shows you don't have it. All is well -- you don't have HSV2. You don't need any additiona tests. Congratulations!
