I got a tattoo done yesterday. it was wrapped around 5:20 pm. i still have the same wrap on because i was afraid of it sticking to my jeans at work. is it okay for me to leave it on for 24 hours ?

Wound care: Initial blood and fluid oozing will be caught in the bandage within the first few hours. If this sits next to your skin for an extended period of time it could lead to an infection. Make sure you check under the bandage within 3-4 hours and change to a clean, dry bandage if there is a lot of discharge. Apply triple antibiotic ointment and keep covered for several days until open wounds close up.
