My elder brother is suffering from ocd from 3 years . doctor advised to take fludep ,respirin,clomipramine .he is taking these medicine from 6 weeks but repitition of unwanted activity & negative thoughts are not controlled .what should he do to cur?

OCD: If you believe that 3 years of uncontrolled obsessive compulsive disorder symptoms will be healed within 6 weeks of starting medications- than you have unrealistic expectations. This can be a difficulty condition to treat. Strongly recommend that psychotropic medications be combined with some form of psychotherapy. (Behavioral therapy. Cognitive behavioral Therapy).
