Why?: there is not enough information in your question to say why he cut it. In general, the principal with medication management is to find the least amount that works. It is OK to ask your doctor why.

Probably a wise move: Zedprex may help the panic. Anafranil (clomipramine) & zedprex are classed as serotonin reuptake inhibitors. Some anafranil (clomipramine) converts to norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor in liver via enzyme 2D6. Zedprex slows anafranil (clomipramine) metabolism/conversion. If anafranil (clomipramine) 10 mg was effective, zedprex could make anafranil (clomipramine) ineffective or toxic via altered liver metabolism. If panic recurs call MD or consult halthtap
