I am having blood pressure problems and my blood pressure average around 136/95 for the past few weeks. is intervention necessary or should i just continue to monitor it?

Blood pressure : I have a few questions; how are you testing your blood pressure? At rest, not eating for 30 minutes, feet on the floor while sitting? How we measure blood pressure makes a difference. During a physical examination, a doctor can help determine if there are any health issues related to high blood pressure changes; such as looking in the eyes. If so, then 24 hr monitoring may be needed.
