A member asked:

I am a cardiac patient and have been on clopidogrel for the past year. i had a heart attack in march last year and my doctor put a stent. how long should one take this tablet after putting a stent.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

One year: There is controversy about usefulness of taking Plavix longer than one year after stenting. However, you should discuss it with your doctor and not make changes to your medication on your own. Wish you good health!
