Complicated: That is such a complicated question that i hesitate to answer as it should be decided by your physician. It depends on why you are taking the plavix (clopidogrel). If it is after you got a drug eluting stent, it is generally accepted that you stay on the medication for at least a year, but once again i would not stop the medicine unless advised by your doctor.

Plavix (clopidogrel): Discuss this with your physician. The drug is discontinued if the risk to your health of bleeding outweighs the benefit of the drug to inhibit platelets from forming clots.
