What is the effects of amoxicillin clavulanic acid 375 mg on patients with type 2 diabetes. coz what i experienced is a spike in my blood sugar levels?

Antibiotic effects: Neither amox/clav nor any other antibiotic has any effect on blood sugar. However, infections definitely can interfere with glucose control. Whatever infection required the antibotic is almost certainly the cause, not hte antibiotic itself. Discuss with your doctor. Good luck.
