Daughter has a fever 101.4 degrees. and threw up. do i take her to the er or pediatrician? she seems fine otherwise. she's 12 months old. weighs about 20 pounds. she threw up last night as well. she's eating a bit as well as playing but clingy

Watch and see: Give her some tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen and a wash down with a washcloth soaked in lukewarm water. Fever should be down in 30 minutes or less. I will be here for the next 2 and a half hours. Let me know how it goes or log in for a consult. Also give her pedialyte to keep her fluids going. If she is vomiting fluids, you need to take her to the ER.
