Had bun and creatiinine tested normal. but not gfr are first 2 the definitive answer? can first 2 be normal and gfr below normal and thus impaired renal function? this is in context of symptoms after contrast dosing.

EGFR: The eGFR is not nearly as good as a true 24 hr urine collection for a creatinine clearance. The e stands for ESTIMATED. The urine will give you your real creatinine clearance. Discuss with your Dr. eGFR uses age and ethnicity. Did they have those correct.
