Nephrocalcinosis: It could mean that you are making and excreting small and/or large kidney stones even though your labs are normal. Please get some more information from your doctor about any kidney issues.

Labs: Your BUN is lower and maybe a reflection of your protein intake but doesn't mean disease. BUN levels are governed by many reasons including kidney function protein intake liver issues. Assuming you have no issue low BUN is more diet. Your chloride is high normal and should be repeated. These labs have to be looked in totality and don't mean disease. Best of luck

Had blood work done. My creatinine was 0.68 GFR >60 bun/creat ratio 37.9 urea nitrogen 19 sodium 139 potassium 5.3 chloride 106. Is this all normal.
Had BUN and creatiinine tested normal. But not GFR Are first 2 the definitive answer? Can first 2 be normal and GFR below normal and thus impaired renal function? This is in context of symptoms after contrast dosing.
Isn't it impossible for someone to have end stage renal failure with consistently normal bun and creatine blood levels and only protien in urine?
MY BUN result is within normal range as well as my URINALYSIS, and my right kidney UTZ is normal while my left kidney has small renal cyst. My CREATININE is sightly elevated. It's 124. In what CKD Level do I probably fall under?
