Question re-diabetes: The normal fasting glucose level followed by clinical doctors is 126. Labs have their own ranges of “normal” for their purposes. If you do not have diabetes then the above number fasting should be followed. Sounds like your value was in that normal range.

Testing method: Diagnosis of diabetes requires testing for fasting glucose in plasma, by an accredited laboratory. Home testing is not appropriate method for making the diagnosis. It would be prudent to see your doctor for a proper test by an accredited laboratory.
