Not sure: Best to read the package insert that came with your device to determine margin of error. As to that result 30 min after a meal, it is ok. It always depends on what you ate and specifically how many simple and complex carbohydrates are in the meal. Hope this helps. Best of luck. Dr R

Check the manual: That number sounds suspiciously low that soon after a meal, but the accuracy of the test should be in either the manual, on the website, or in the documentation the companies have to provide to the FDA, also available usually on the web site for the product.
