Hi. i am in new york city. thank god the percent of people testing positive for coronavirus has been around 1 percent. my math question is....can this percent go lower? how would that happen, or can it not go below 1% with 1% are indoor dinners safe?

COVID 19: The R number (effective reproduction number) is a major factor in gauging this pandemic. Going below an R value of 1 can be done. Other countries have done it. See: https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2020/05/covid-19-what-is-the-r-number/. Don't know what the policy will be regarding reopenings.
