Hi i live in new york (brooklyn). percent of people testing positive for coronavirus is reported to be 2 percent. does this lower percentage make it any ""safer"" to do indoor dining or have smaller group gatherings? is there a certain safe percent?

COVID 19: A lower percentage does make it "safer" in general. However, all it takes is one COVID positive individual sneezing or coughing in your direction and you can become infected. The word "safe" is relative when it comes to COVID 19. I think that to be truely safe, there will need to be an effective vaccine with a high percentage of the population being vaccinated.
