Could be spontaneous: The most common type of brain aneurysm are saccular aneurysms. These might have different etiologies but may rupture spontaneously due to hypertension, trauma, etc. Even though size and symptoms play an important role on the possibility of rupture, it is not a rule that a small aneurysm won't rupture. If you had an MRA 10 years ago, I would recommend performing a new one to compare size.
