Maybe not abnormal: A single enlarged node in the groin usually is not abnormal or dangerous. Most likely it's a scarred node still enlarged from some distant past infection. Check with your doctor to make sure, but most likely this is nothing to worry about. Good luck.

Watch and wait: You may feel the node every couple of weeks, if the lymph gland doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
