I injured my left elbow years ago. it has always remained purple. had a ruff area on it so had biopsy done 2 yrs ago; came back scar tissue. it had a i have over the years hit it and the whole elbow remains purple. can anything be done about it?

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. From what you described, the discoloration may due to deposition of iron in the tissue from repeated bleeding into the tissue. If that is the case, it would be harmless. It would be prudent to see your doctor to exclude a treatable disorder. Wish you good health!
