After 2 years: These scars are unlikely to change much more. Pulsed dye laser treatment may help reduce color some, but this works best for pink or red scars rather than purple ones.

Unlikely.: Scars usually mature up until 1 year after surgery. Bleaching creams can be helpful in lightening scars.
