I just texted the question about bruising and taking plavix 75 mg...i forgot to say that i am also on 81mg aspirin daily. i wanted to know if occasional purple bruising could or could not be from daily intake of 75mg plavix and 81mg aspirin?

Yes, not unusual: Both are valuable anti-platelet items to decrease incidence of future vascular obstruction leading to stroke and/or heart attacks. It is not unusual to have prolonged bleeding with minor cuts, and ready bruising when having superficial trauma. This is part of the picture, but far better than the alternative.
