Not Normal: Neither for you, or for her. Bleeding gingiva is usually a sign of inflammation. How clean are her teeth? Trapped bacteria needs to be thoroughly removed. Even though you may think she's young, it could be the time to have her see a pediatric dentist. As for yourself, be seen for a thorough cleaning and exam... gingival inflammation over time will result in loss of bony support and your teeth.

Bleeding gums: Not normal, either for you or your child. Most common cause is gum infection, which is readily treatable, although there are also some rare blood dyscrasia possibilities. sounds like you need to see a specialist Periodontist and your daughter see a specialist Pedodontist immediately. Please seek immediate attention.
