Depends: Like all other nonsteroidal anti inflammatory agents, it can damage your kidneys and elevate your blood pressure. Many people take it without problems, but only for short periods of time, not chronically.

Possible: Meloxicam is a non steroid anti-inflammatory medication. It can cause increased blood pressure. Long term use can cause kidney dysfucntion, including kidney failure. Please discuss with your doctor about your concern.
