A member asked:

My urine test was done and it show a trace of 30 pro time in urine .. my alc was also 7.0 .. im worried .. what could protein in urine mean ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Diabetes: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, if your a1c is 7.0 you are diabetic and having protein in urine puts you at risk of kidney failure. It is imperative that you discuss this with your doctor. Wish you good health!
