I have a pea size hard lump under my skin on the back of my neck. my neurosurgeon looked at it and said he wouldnt be worried but i am. it grew in size. it also has a weird smell to it after i touch it. what can it be??

Node/cyst ?: This would require an exam to sort out & you should start with your GP. The location/behavior suggests a lymph node but this would not create an odor. A lump that extrude any debris that smells is likely a cyst.
