left shoulder pain that radiates down arm into hand, accompanied by pain from hip (l) down my leg. only happens when laying down. cause for concern?

Nerve pressure: It appears from the radiating pain that you have nerve compression. This happens when a nerve is squeezed between two other structures. You need to get examined by a physician, Neurologist, who can find the compression sites before the pain becomes longer lasting and possible permanent.
