So i've had this cyst on leg to the side of the shin. i've had it for many years it's only visible if i flex my leg. it feels about 2cm in length. is it better to have it removed or should i just leave it alone?

Leave it for now: If the cyst is in the same location, has not grown or changed, and does not interfere with function or appearance, it is better to leave it alone. Surgery, even minor ones, can lead to infection or localized tissue/nerve damage, or other complications. See your Dr if it becomes painful, enlarges or prevents you from moving normally.
