Look up neuroma : Most likely a neuroma, you need better shoes, orthoticss, and padding to help. Otherwise injections and surgery are recommended.

If it is: joint pain - did you injure it? if not an arthritis condition should be ruled out but I would also look to rule out a neuroma as it is in the same area and more common.

Hi, I am having pain with my left foot on the joint of my 2nd toe where my toe meets my foot. By the end of the day I can hardly walk.
