Loose association: If the question is implying that at the base of your knee pain is vitamin D deficiency would rather suggest having the knee examined as the cause is most likely local. Replacing vitamin D if deficient will help otherwise in many areas including bone metabolism in general.

Eval: You didn't tell us when you had your last vitamin D level drawn. You also didn't tell us if you were prescribed Vitamin D due to your previous vitamin D Deficiency. Are you making an association between knee pain and Vitamin D deficiency? I wouldn't just assume that the two are linked. Would recommend you talk with your Dr. About Vitamin D and an evaluation of your knee.
