Likely need Doctor v: Painless swelling in any part of the body requires an examination by a healthcare worker, a nurse or a doctor especially if the swelling is increasing over a period of 1-3 months. We also need to know how much/ what is the size of this swelling compared to your other/healthy Thumb? So depending on the above 2 factors you should get a doctor to examine your hand/Thumb in one or two months.
