Brain mri on tuesday am, contacted dr for results yesterday (wed) and told to set up phone visit to discuss. earliest appt is next week. should i be concerned they wont share findings with me now?

Not necessarily: It all depends on context, acute abnormal tests are communicated immediately as time may be of essence. Many times equivocal findings are discussed at length as follow up may be needed. Most of the times the findings are discussed in the context of future plans based on results and dynamics if previous similar tests available.
