Hello. i have fungus on tongue. been taking mycostatin (nystatin) oral. this isnt helping. the fungus on my tongue is still there. why wont it go away? any idea?

See an OS: For how long? What dosage? Did a doctor prescribe it? Are you sure it is fungal? Any medical problems? See an oral surgeon for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

Fungus: If the medication you are using is ineffective, it's time to reevaluate. Perhaps your problem is bacterial rather than fungal. Perhaps a different anti-fungal is indicated. Please see your Dentist for evaluation and appropriate treatment.
