Kidney cysts: There are many kinds of kidney cysts. Each of these are associated with different Kidney disorders. Best case scenario: both kidneys function normally and only monitoring is needed. Sometimes only one kidney is affected and the baby can live normally with the other functional kidney doing the work of both. Rarely, both kidneys are affected and the baby may need dialysis. Talk to your Dr.
