A member asked:

Treadmill stress test results. i am a 66 year old female. is this good, bad or fair? utilizing the bruce protocol, the patient exercised for 5:31min, achieving 7.00mets, 106% mphr, peak bp 147/48mm hg. no chest pain, no arrhythmias.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Stress test: Although you only exercised for 5:31 minutes you reached 106% of your MPHR so it's considered a maximal stress test. If there were no ST segment abnormalities consistent with ischemia, you had a negative test showing no evidence of significant coronary artery blockages. If you have been having suspicious symptoms, you could have been pushed more to see if symptoms developed, but wasn't necessary.
