My daughter is almost 12 years old. two toes on each of her feet have turned red and are swollen, painful. she had 1 toe with the same problem 2 weeks ago i treated it as a blister but theres no fluid build up, now theres 4 toes similar problem ?

Possible infection: If there has been an injury, an x ray is indicated to rule out a fracture. If she is experiencing a flu like illness and/or fever, please see a physician right away. A skin infection may be treated locally in some cases by keeping the area clean and dry and applying Bacitracin ointment three times daily. Please see your PCP for follow up since an oral antibiotic may be indicated.
