USUALLY NOT: I cannot speak for your particular case, but it is not a usual practice to remove the 1st molar to allow space for the 3rd (=wisdom) tooth. Depending on the training types and levels, there are many different suggestions your dentist may offer--expand the arch size to allow better airway, or just remove the wisdom tooth, or doing nothing. Consult a few dentists to find what is best for you.

Absolutely not: Removing 1st molars will not automatically cause 2nd and 3rd molars to move forward into the 1st molar space in an upright fashion. If ther isn't enough room for 3rd molars, see an Oral Surgeon and have the problematic 3rd molars, not the healthy 1st molars, removed.
