Not on GERD Med: Try also treating the gerd - if that reduces the need for or amount of the other meds, you have gerd or it is a contributing factor.

Unrelated: A patient can have both reflux and asthma for separate reasons... Reflux can aggravate asthma (eg be a trigger), and it can also cause chronic cough that is not asthma, but it isn't a known cause of asthma per se. Asthma also does not cause reflux.
